What do you get when you combine dancing, choral, jazz band, and classical music with a holiday theme. Well you get a fun evening.
Holiday Breakfast
Our fav parks and rec facility has an annual holiday bazaar. Jasmine heard they also have a pancake breakfast with Santa program. After some successful convincing (I’m not really a go out for breakfast person), Jasmine and I headed over and actually found a parking spot at the busy event.
I was pleasantly surprised that in addition to pancakes they also served eggs, sausage and orange juice all for an all-you-can-eat low price. We chowed down while watching some entertainment by an Elf. Sadly Santa was not in attendance – but he did do a walk by inviting kids to stand in line in a nearby room for a photo op.
I tried to convince Jasmine to do this, but she got shy and declined. So instead we toured all the rooms and booths looking at various crafted goods. Only slowing down once to get some face painting.

Halloween Decorations
Went overboard this Halloween. Well more so than usual. I added a Mad Scientist Area, complete with body, which was a little too disturbing to have in the house. It will not be making a return visit next year. At last count over 40 skulls in my decorations… that’s only in two rooms and the front yard… maybe I should pull back for next year. More spiders and ghosts! Yes, that will be the theme for 2015. Only 364 days to go….
The “Nightmare before Christmas” painting is an original that Becca Haynes painted for me.
I rescued this sign from a work event. No idea where to store it. Maybe just keep it up all year.
Pinata ghost ewas for the Day of the Dead party, but was just too cute and survived to haunt another Halloween.
