A yearly tradition, we went to our favorite Apple Festival. And this time, we took Jasmine’s sister Destiny. We savored the amazing caramel apples. The kids got their face painted, enjoyed the hay mazes, picking out pumpkins, and playing on the tractor.
Our friend Ella had a fancy birthday party – which her mom Beth who it won it in a raffle. It included a fancy spread for the adults and nice snacks for the kids. And several craft projects and a dance lesson.
Yeah, its Polish Festival weekend. I just love their food. Yum yum. And Emily loves to shop. And Jasmine just loves hanging out.
The other day, our neighbor Jan gave me some ribs she had made along with cooking instructions. The recipe sounded very easy, even for me, so today I made bbq ribs for the very first time and they were delicious.
Today after visiting the library, we went on a short hike. At the park, Jasmine decided to sneak up on a squirrel. What followed was 5 minutes of entertainment as Jasmine and squirrel slowly played cat and mouse until finally the squirrel had a enough and bolted away.
On the way back to the car, Jasmine asked me to take a picture of some flowers and then while taking a break at a convenient bench – to also take our self-portrait.
