We went to Beth’s house for a dinner party. Homemade apple pie with ice cream was a big hit.

Thanksgiving 2011
We had a sumptuous Thanksgiving with roasted chicken, mash potatoes, green bean bake, and three pies. And a mushroom dish for Emily.
I put a half chicken on Jasmine’s plate – she got very excited with big eyes she said “Is this all for me?”. She wasn’t too sure how to eat it though so she had me cut off the drumstick.
Emily’s pumpkin pie was the best I every had! I told her it was like a warm hug.
Adoption Family Event
We were invited to a Adoption Family Event today. There were arts & crafts, mind-bender puzzles, reptile petting zoo, face painting, clowns and balloons.
Afterwards, we went out for a Chinese lunch, where we admired Jasmine’s new stuff bear that was part of the free grab bag at the event.
Ice cream cake birthday
Emily made herself a homemade birthday ice cream cake.
She celebrated this week by going to an art studio to make some fun pottery projects.
School Music Event
For several weeks, Jasmine has been preparing for her third grade music event. She even had a solo speaking part. And tonight was the grand performance, and we thought she did great. We especially liked her rendition of the train song.
