Day 3 of snowpocalypse has piled up the white stuff. Sure is pretty coming down. Some neighbors decided to do some skiing.

Snowing
No school today – it’s snowing!
Superbowl 2014
This year Jasmine showed an interest in watching the Superbowl. So we obliged and made it a family event.
Emily made a wonderful spread of snacks – homemade humus, spinach-artichoke dip, garlic bread, bbq cauliflower…
I was the only one to fully engage into viewing the whole show. Jasmine and Emily divided their attention with hobbies. Jasmine was drawing, playing dolls, or digital games. Emily was looking up facts or gaming on her phone.
We agreed most of the commercials were lame – especially the many car ads that made no sense. But we all liked the time traveler ad.
Bowling
We went bowling with friends. When the lights went out and the music ramped up – dancing also ensued.
Chinese New Year
We made a visit to our local Chinese restaurant that all of you are probably very familiar with since we go there almost every month and have written about it on numerous occasions. This time just happened to be the Chinese New Year, “Year of the Horse!” so it was that much more fun.
