Canterbury Ren Faire 2014
We made a second visit to the Canterbury Ren Faire (last year was our first). We had a lovely time.
I enjoyed fine dining on roasted leg of fowl beast (turkey). The ladies toured the jousting grounds on steads of fancy. We provided clapping and cheering for entertainers.
Beatles Coverband
Our local library had a free concert showcasing music from the Beatles era. I thought this would be a fun family outing and an opportunity to expose some classic music to Jasmine.
She did pretty well for the first 30 minutes until boredom set in. So we made a quick trip to the stacks to grab some books and then back to the concert.
Raccon Lodge – Kids Eat Free
Our ‘Portland Geeks with Kids’ social group met at the Raccoon Lodge to partake of the kids eat free night. They have great fries and tots! The entrees are good too, but so far I’ve only ordered the pulled pork sandwich. I should probably try something new next time.
