I volunteered to chaperon a school field trip to OMSI. I was responsible for 6 energetic kids each wanting to go in different directions. It was an interesting and tiring challenge, but also fun. The kids had a good time as well.
Oh, I had thought a birthday party at Chucky Cheese was loud, now I now riding in a bus full of third graders is truly deafening.
In my group were Jasmine, Lucia, Stephanie, Avery, Brandon, and Nick.
So Jasmine signed up for the school talent show. Today was the audition, and Jasmine was called up first. I thought she did quite well considering she made up the routine on the spot.
When the weather gets hot, our cat Little Man curls up in the cool bathroom sink.
Perfect Oregon weather demands a trip to the zoo. I took Jasmine and friend Grace to visit the bears, eagles, elephants and all the other amazing critters. The stereotypical wrestling bears encounter was quite entertaining as you can see in the video. We also witnessed a polar bear playing in the water tossing around a big ball like a professional volleyball or waterpolo player. I also got a video of the girls doing some drumming.
We went to our friend Ella’s first communion this morning. The kids were well dressed in gowns and suites. After mass, Jasmine and I had a tickle fight.
