June is a big birthday month for sure. Tonight was our friend Beth’s turn with a party at John Incredible Pizza. We had lots of fun.

Oh, and we discovered a new item on the buffet – tacos!

I love waking Jasmine up on her last day of school. I think she was excited too. Although she will miss her school friends and teacher over the summer, I think she will have fun.

I turned the big four-oh today. I don’t like it, but what can I do.

I do like bacon though. Emily got me a pound of bacon and even cooked it. Jasmine and I had many BLTs. Yum.

Emily also got me an icecream cake with the saying ‘coolest dad’ that covers both my birthday and father’s day.

I went to our friends party tonight that was a combination house warming and baby Alyce’s first birthday. I enjoyed pulled pork and coleslaw sandwiches for dinner. And several slices of chocolate cake for desert.

I found out that Alyce loves to wear purses.

The school talent show was tonight. Jasmine was the first act, she went on stage right after we sang the star spangled banner. She did great!
