We had a tough time deciding where to go to lunch after Jasmine’s iceskating lesson. We settled on someplace that had soup – I suppose we wanted to warm up.
A nice warm lunch at Rose’s Restaurant hit the spot. I certainly enjoyed chicken tortilla soup.
Jasmine had a tough decision this fall – what class to take. Between art, dancing and skating she choose… well you know.
Brrrr, it is quite cold in the ice arena. I kinda wish I was out there learning how to skate as well, just to stay warm, versus sitting on the bleachers.
Sometimes one party is not enough. Ella’s birthday party part deux occurred at John’s Incredible Pizza. Yes, we ate too much once again. But at least we got our ‘food pyramid’ daily serving of vegetables from the ample salad bar. And we perhaps worked off some those calories playing in the game room.
What do you get when your cross a child’s party with a ranch – a horsin’ good time.
Eight cowgirls geared up to the hitchin’ post for some equine brushing and riding. Along with some horseshoe painting and general tomfoolery. Topped off with a sing-along to birthday girl Ella and some hearty chow of campfire ‘beans’ and trail cupcakes. (Ok, you got me, the beans wasn’t actually on the menu.)
Jasmine got a ‘pixie’ hair style. We like it.
