What’s that whirling sound? Its not a bird. Its not a plane. Its a new futuristic vacuum.

Our old cleaner finally called it quits, so it was time to get a new one. After much research, we decided to go with a bag less spin feature. And since today was ‘black friday’ I headed out to get one (and hopefully find it on sale).

I came back with my hard won prize and began the process of construction. The pieces felt like props from a flash gordon film.

Me and my trusty sidekick X2K (or whatever the model number was) vacuumed well. Those dust balls and cat hair outliers didn’t stand a chance.

Yeah, its Thanksgiving! I’ve been looking forward to this. Our neighbor Grace joined us.

We had a grand meal of chicken, tofurky, mash potatoes, green beans and of course gravy. For dessert were pumpkin and pecan pie with ice cream if so desired.

We went to dinner at Shari’s tonight. I got hooked on their free pie promotion.

Tonight I decided to try their cinnama-sation french toast platter. It was very good, very filling, and an unearthly amount of calories. I was sadly too satiated for pie, good thing they allow takeout.

The next morning I was still too full and skipped breakfast. ( I did eat lunch though. )

The ladies did some pumpkin carving. Some kitty cat costuming. Some spooky decorating.

And later, dad and daughter toured the neighborhood for some ghastly treats.

I did a internet search for local restaurants with ‘kids eat free’ specials. I found Raccoon Lodge, which Emily and I have been too before, but not with Jasmine. So tonight, I remedied that, and off we went.

Jasmine had a cheeseburger. I had the pulled pork sandwich. Both came with shoestring fries, which we enjoyed.
