It seems all kids are enamored with the golden arches. And so is Jasmine. Well today was important day in our daughter’s life. She had saved up enough cash to buy her own meal out on the town. She was debating on whether to go to Dairy Queen or McDonalds. You can see by the photos which place won out.
Jasmine said goodbye to her first baby tooth this morning. She was very excited about the grand event. Her hard work the past week of tooth wiggling, twisting, and general mirror gazing finally paid off.
To celebrate Mother’s day, my birthday and our 10th anniversary we headed downtown for a show and a fancy dinner. We watched the Jefferson Dancers, a high school group that did many styles from modern, ballet to tap. Jasmine who recently completed a ballet class was quiet impressed with the performance.
I was craving bacon, so we headed to our fav brunch locale of Kristin and Mac’s place. This time Mac upped the ante by baking homemade sourdough cinnamon rolls. We chatted, did some on-road biking and had a good time.
After the exciting gymnastic’s class we went out to lunch at my favorite Pho restaurant. I had a giant bowl of beef pho which after much effort I was able to finish. Emily had some yummy spring rolls. And Jasmine, who had lunch earlier, did some coloring and exploring under the table for dropped cranyons.
Then we went to Trader Joes to get some groceries, including their wonderful pickles which are… wait for it… only 0 calories and just so tasty. We tend to run out pickles quickly since Jasmine loves them.
