Jasmine’s foster family visited us today. Devon gave Jasmine rides on his electric scooter. Kara and Jasmine played cards between tickle fights. Kristi, Ron, Emily and I chatted. Then we experimented with the self-timer feature of our camera’s to capture a group photo.
Here are some photos of Emily’s holiday decorating this year.
Jasmine and I attended the Beaverton Tree Lighting and Holiday Festival. They had pretty lights and decorations throughout the park. They also had a stage for dancing, caroling, a theatre group, and of course a shout out from Santa, Mrs. Claus, and the city major. Jasmine found one of her friends Nikki, so they got to hang for a bit. Finally, everyone counted down 10, 9, 8… Oohs and awws were heard as the giant tree lighted up the night sky.
Our cat Little Man got into the holiday spirit this year playing and hiding in the garland. He was so relaxed he even let Jasmine add a little decoration. Well he does have a cold nose, but I’m not sure it glows, so Santa should probably let reindeer instead of cats pull his sled this year.
We drove to Delaware to visit my family and to have an early Christmas. Jasmine and Josh got some of their energy out jumping on the couches. Little Savannah tried to join in, but she needs a bit more work on her landings. The three cousins also got plenty of snuggling with Grandma Rachel.
So what was I doing the whole time. Well I was eating way to many bugle chips – why are they so delicious. Must eat more…
I was also thinking how weird it is that so many of my relatives have names staring with “J”.
