My friend Joni threw a “little girl” shower for me. Jeff and I brought Jasmine and she had a ball. I leave the pictures to tell the story.

Fairy Festival
There once was a fairy princess named Jasmine, who went to the Fairy Festival. There were lots of other fairy princess’ there, too. Princess Jasmine got to make a new wand to add to her growing collection. She made butterfly wings and had a flower painted on her face. She got to play in the dragon’s den and dance around with the other sprites. In the end she left with a crown of flowers on her head.
Children’s Museum
We made our first trip to the Children’s Museum. An array of parents walked around in a daze, while kids ran with glee among the many diversions. We were exhausted after two and half hours which felt like an eternity to us, but in kid time probably felt like a half hour.
There are several play areas: theatre stage, grocery, deli, doctor’s office, shipyard, construction site, clay studio… Jasmine especially enjoyed the waterworks section which contained several interactive water gadgets.
Adoption Party
Friends and foster family gathered to celebrate our adoption of Jasmine. A yummy chocolate cake decorated with Jasmine’s favorite princesses was the highlight of the festivities.
Spring Flowers
Spring has has fully sprung in the northwest. Easter is on it’s way. Where oh where will the Easter bunny hide his eggs?
